Layerlab’s z-LAB instrument part of new research project at Malmö University

A research project to be initiated at Malmö University, Sweden, in collaboration with Novosense AB, Galenica AB, and Layerlab AB has been granted a contribution of 2.9 MSEK. The planned project start is March 1^st, 2012. The aim of the project is the development of “Devices for non-invasive biomedical sensing, monitoring or/and delivery“. One of the goals of the project is the investigation of how currently available products can be combined in the biomedical instruments of the future.

“ I am very pleased to have Layerlab as one of the partners in the project since their z-LAB instrument and technology offers a wide variety of opportunities to develop sensors and biosensors for biomedical applications”, says Tautgirdaz Ruzgas, Professor in Biomedical Technology at Malmö University.
